Mary-T plays a soulful guitar and has the voice to match. She writes her own songs and  lives by the credo that music has no rules, creative expression should run free like a wild mustang and  the soul ain't for sale, at any price. While this may not be a very good marketing strategy in a world of cookie cutter copycats, it's how Mary rides. 

Mary's music  doesn't replicate something for a mass audience.  " I just play what I’m feeling  and am very true to it, and creative with it," says Mary.

If you've  gotta hang a label on Mary blues rock would probably fit the best. Her roots are deep in the blues and her music is always growing and blossoming with fresh possibility.
